Thiva chickpea Greek variety is a large-seeded, drought-resistant type, ideal for poor soils. Its seeds weigh between 470-510 grams per 1000, with a light-yellow color and grooved surface. The plants reach a height of 46-68 cm, yielding 150-200 kg per hectare in dryland fields, and over 300 kg per hectare in irrigated ones.
