RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT (R&D)
OIKOS holds a recognized identity in the Registry of Conservators and is an active member of the Hellenic Plant Breeding Society.
We participate in the European LIVESEEDING program.
The company specializes in plant breeding through field selection and aims to register new Greek varieties.
In 2025, the project for the registration of two new varieties will be completed, marking a significant step for the company towards sustainable agriculture and the development of improved varieties that are adapted to the conditions of Greek agriculture.

To strengthen this effort, a portion of the revenue from the sales of Traditional Greek Varieties is allocated to the European LIVESEEDING program.
